Sold the TT!! And successfully ordered the 981S with a 3.4L six (one of the last 7 allocations in the US). I was very lucky to get the build approval, as Porsche is limiting allocations to get the leftover cars on their lots sold to make way for the 4cyl turbo Boxsters that are coming for MY 2017. Also bought a 2013 X3 3.5 M-sport for everyday to replace the TT. I've been very busy!

Sold the TT - it's going to a passionate TT enthusiast this week. Picking up a 2013 X3 3.5 M-sport in 2 days. And have a 2016 Porsche Boxster S 3.4L 6MT on order for December build. As much as I hate to part with the TT, which I've loved from the day I bought it, the X3 and Boxster S should soften the blow ...

Congratulations on the Boxster and the X3. A lot of cars are losing their 3rd pedal, so maybe we will be seeing you back here with a MKIII sometime in the future.

Have fun!

Thanks - excited (especially about the Porsche). The X3 is a steptronic, but should be a solid work car. Haven't seen it yet, so I'll look it over carefully - it is very nicely equipped (Space Gray with Black leather, sports seats, Bose, Xenons etc, and an extended warrantee). The Boxster S will be my fun, fair weather car - one of the very last 6 cylinder Boxsters to be built for the US - they're going to be fours next year (except for the Spyder). As long as someone is making 6MT's I'll consider that car. I would have seriously considered a TT-RS, but they're not available here - or at least not yet. I'm old school and as good as the new automatic gearboxes are now, I still enjoy rowing through the gears - just find it more engaging.

TT's last day with me. Doesn't look the same with Jersey plates! I will miss this absolutely great car. Now to try to get used to driving an SUV. I bought the 2013 X3 3.5 M-sport this week. Nice car but SO different from the TT. Now to await the Winter arrival of the Boxster S, which should help to ease the loss of selling the TT. It just didn't make sense to keep two 2-seat roadsters (both Silver/Black)! It's been an interesting couple of weeks - that's for sure.

It's always sad to see your baby leave home. I'm sure he will be happy with his new person over in NJ. But, having some experience with an (older) Cayman S, you will be happy with your Boxster S.

It is very hard to part with a car that you've grown attached to, as I did with this TT. The new owner got a wonderful car, and she knows it. The X3 3.5i M-sport is fine, and I'm beginning to actually like it. The 300HP six helps. But now the waiting starts for the new Boxster S. Should be an awesome car. Very similar colors to the TT - GT Silver w/ full black leather, and a six speed of course.
