Trunk panel removal right side?
Fuel lid looked like crap, acid rain who knows, just pasty white so I'm replacing it. Problem is I can't figure out how to get to the cable termination solenoid unit inside the trunk. Would anyone have photos or Bentley illustrations for how the trunk liner panel comes apart so I can get to the cable end? That would be awesome. Thanks
Ok so I got it all apart using some trim tools now the problem is removing the two hex posts holding the solenoid down. No idea what tool should be used here. Thoughts?
Once it's realized that the plastic hook catch simply unsnaps from the from the actuator things move right along to a finish 5 minutes later. No special tool required. It was pretty easy once you work out how it all comes apart. Now it looks fantastic much better than before.
