TT RS Grille & Foglight Surrounds
#11
Alex,
I'm flattered, please feel free to use pics of my car. As for more stuff, I really like the thicker RS steering wheel and the brakes, but I'd really like some carbon fiber interior bits first. We'll see, Christmas is around the corner.
Regards,
John

the car looks great!!
Love those fogs.
how hard was it to do the fogs? Do the covers just pop out? How is the mesh held in place?
Any chance you could post a DIY for the fog with the mesh?
Want to do it in one shot, so the more info available, the better.
thanks alot.

Sorry, I just saw the replies to this thread. Unfortunately, I don't have any additional pics of the nuts and I just turned in the car this morning.
As for the fog surrounds, they do just pop out. You can actually remove them w/o removing the bumper if needed. It took me a few times of cutting the material and test fitting to get it right but they were so tight that they didn't need any adheasive to stay in place b/w the two pieces that make up the fog surround section.
I have the two pieces that I cut and have them in the box with the RS grille that's still for sale. I also have the 3" APR downpipe for sell as well. I was amazed how much of a difference it made when we pulled it off the car. The DP was the key to the entire car. Weird how one piece can have such an effect.
