265/35/20 on the TTS 20's ?
Can anyone confirm if a 265/35/20 (255/30/20 is stock) can be used without any rubbing issues on the TTS ? I don't think mounting on the stock 20' wheels would be an issue.
Reason I ask is that it seems the new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S that is replacing the Pilot Super Sport will not be initially offered in the 255/30/20 size.
Not sure what size is on the TTRS's 20" wheels that launched in Europe this year.

Can't say, but it will alter your gearing/speedo. 265/35/20 is 739 revs per mile while 255/30/20 is 775. That translates into a around 5% faster/taller.

i don't think ull be having a good time with a 35 tire. that's an inch taller than stock so you will def have little clearance / rub issues on full load. if u want 35, best way is to downsize to 19's. I don't recommend 265/35 at all unless u have air suspension
one thing I hate about the TT is the wheel and tire fitments!

I like my OEM 20's a lot, remind me of the CCW wheels. Not necessarily looking for a 35 series either.
Just trying to sort out how I can run the new PS 4 when they launch in March 17 in the U.S.
I am pretty happy with my OEM Yokohama's at the 5k mark !

That tire fitment is too much of a variance from standard. You will not affect handling in a positive way if you run that size, and it very well may rub. For the best performance you should stick with the R01 marked tires that come on your factory wheels as they are specifically made to Audi specifications.

Would 265/30/20 fit? Same sidewall but a little wider? I want to go as wide as possible without buying new wheels/ rubbing. Would 270 be possible? Tire Rack person said they didn't know yet.
