I was in the market for a TT and particularly a TTS once I saw the availability of the magnetic ride and especially the vegas yellow paint but I settled on an S3 because of the slightly longer wheelbase and lower cost for the same features, sans virtual cockpit which I REALLY wanted. I can see why audi limits the color choices on the TT as its even more of a niche product that the S3 is. I dont agree with it but I see the logic. I HATE the fact that every interior on the S3 is dominated by black. its just stupid. I ordered the red inserts to go with glacier white because otherwise I wouldnt have ever bought the car. those express red seats in the TT are hot and the fact that you get super sport seats that are powered in essentially the same car mechanically that the S3 is while they are manual in the S3 is stupid. I still wonder what I would have been like to just pay the extra $ and get the TTS but I am happier that the new S3 has the mods it should: an extra gear and the virtual cockpit. so much so That I am strongly considering trading my '16 in for one.
