Default Bolt Pattern Measurements for Audi TT MK3

Does anyone know if the MK2 bolt pattern is the same as the MK3 bolt pattern.

Planning on buying a set of winter RIMS and Tires.

While I wait for 2 months for my car to showup this is something fun to do in my spare time

Default According to UK sites that sell rims, the Mk 3 is 5x112 - same as Mk 2

Bolt pattern and hub size are the same.

Looks like the winter setup is 17x7 w/ 225/50/17 tires. Not sure if offset has changed though vs TT2.

In Winter I plan to reuse my Rial DH 18x8.5 hubcentric rims with Michelin Alpin 245x40 snow tires (carryover from prior A5). I see the TT comes with 18" rims and 245x40 tires (albeit Summer performance) so should be fine. I'm more in slush and salt-melting snow so better availed of the larger contact patch than a narrower less "snowplowing" tire.

Huey52, I drive an A5 as well, and have a set of winter wheels & tires.
I have just started looking into whether or not they will fit the MK3 TT / TTS properly.
Here is what I have learned, the following are the reported offsets for the MK3 TT:
OEM TT(S) MK3

8x17 ET47
8.5x17 ET50
8.5x18 ET50
9x19 ET52
9x20 ET52

Now the A5's 18 inch wheels were ET 29, don't know what your winters are, mine are ET 25.
So if one were to put the noted A5 wheels on a MK3 TT, they would extend an extra 21mm, which does not sound good for winter use.
I am no wheel expert, but I go through this process every time I buy a new car just to make sure I understand what I am buying.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the further insight. Offset is always a very important consideration to preclude fender rubbing and excessive road splash.
My 8.5x18 Rial DH's are a 34mm positive offset (16mm from your cited stock), so somewhat in the middle (higher positive offset number being more "tucked in" to the wheel wells, which is pretty typical for OEM). As I already have them of course an on-car test will be the ultimate evaluation.

I have a set of 5x112 35et 19 inch wheels with Toyo R888 race tires left over from my 13 S4. I hope they fit! If so I will be tracking my TTs as soon as possible : )

Won't work. The centerbore is different.

To add some technical detail to the post on centerbore:

Again, I am no expert, but I like to do my homework.
