Got hit. Now what? Update
Very upset to see my 16 TT has been scraped by another vehicle. All areas that show black is damage past the paint & into the primer. Can't imagine how it got hit so low. My car is leased, so I'm left with two choices: Get the car repaired at a local shop, or turn in like this at lease end, and take the hit from the dealer. Any advice appreciated.

Such a shame. Certainly a lot of idiots out there. A good shop should be able to blend in however.

Sucks. My guess is they didn't leave a note. Happened to me twice this year with my Q7. Not fun.
In my situation, I just returned a BMW lease and at first I was going to repair 4 curb rashed rims and a pretty large scrape on the rear bumper. $1100 total to repair.
Went online to research and almost everybody said to get the inspection first and see how much it is. After my inspection, the report came back with $0 in charges. Everything was considered wear and tear. Even the bumper scrape which I thought was significant, and although not as bad as your damage, it was significant. Moral of the story, I saved $1100.

Yup. Makes sense to live with it if you don't mind it.
Btw, after the lease inspection, suppose they say the fine is $1000 for the damage but an independent workshop agreed to fix it for $500. Can we fix it and save $500? Will they do another inspection and remove the $1000 fine and we end up saving $500 or will we need up losing $1500?

Oh yea. Those things are good options too. Or you can buy some white car paint and try fixing it yourself as a diy. Shouldn't be too hard since it's white and even though there might be a mismatch, you'll probably be the only one to notice it. Use some rubbing compound to get paint transfer off and then touch up the black spots.

Update: I received the Dr. ColorChip kit and I'm generally pleased. It's always easy for the guys in the videos. I was never able to do the glove smear without wiping out the chip being filled. The paint is very good & did not need primer. Of course the eye can see flaws that don't show up on camera. In the future, I would buy the paint without the whole kit.
