AFAICT its a feature. I've only noticed it once or twice and its definitely weird. Don't think there's any way of defeating it.

Actually a feature to alleviate a constant pressure point on long trips. It's subtle and I experienced, again, just yesterday on a long pre-snow joyride.

Been a long time Volvo driver (which are known for the phenomenal seats) and outside of the padding being maybe firmer than it really needs to be the seats are one of my favorite things about the car.

I have a 2014 Carrera S with 18-way seats, so I know what those seats are like. I bought my TTS out of state and drove 9 hours straight back home without making any significant adjustments I was amazed at how comfortable the seats were. So I guess its all subjective. I'm surprised you can't find any position that works.

They did get more comfortable with time.

The car is now gone. Replaced with a nicely optioned S5 along with a Q7 I ordered highly optioned. Both are 2018 models.

i now have an all Audi household.

I love the seats and feel like they are 10x better than my previous B8.5 S4 seats. I haven't even fully adjusted them yet, not enough seat time.
I was at the Audi Experience so I an still stuck in track seating mode and have the back relatively upright and still love the comfort.

I thought I was the only one who had gremlins in the seats. Seriously, why does the lumbar support move around on its own?
