Count me as a longtime Audi lover, and now potential convert to the TT style with its redesign. I always felt the previous generations were too "bubbly" for me.

I'm currently driving an Audi A5, and was considering either an A7 or nex-gen S5 when it comes out in late 2017. However, both of these include the pop-up MMI screen (to be a fixed version in the nex-gen A4/S4/A5/S5), and like others have said, it really ruins the lines of the dash on the Audis for me.

With the new TTS front end looking a bit like the R8 for me and the clean interior design (and the new tech), it seriously has my attention. My only concern coming from an A5 with 3.2 6 cylinder engine, is whether the 2.0 engine will sound nice and not overly whinny, and whether the suspension won't be overly rough as a daily driver for my tastes. I guess that's why I'm waiting to test drive one once they arrive, before ordering one.

A few of us A5 owners are looking at the new TT. I considered one back in '09, but choose the A5 instead. The new TTS resolves almost every concern I had with the Mk2 TT. Hope to order a TTS this winter.

Wow, that looks really nice! Dealer says my TT order is "in the bank" but not in production yet and absolutely no idea of delivery dates.

This was exactly my situation too Can Quattro. As you know, the A5 is a beautiful vehicle and it's good to see that the Mk3 has undergone a similarly very pleasing stylistic freshening. I almost got a Mk1 back in the day so this is a bit of a finally coming home for me.

My order is still "in the bank" as well. Hoping to hear something next week.

btw: I ordered my '11 A5 the last week in December 2010 and took delivery on March 1st, so that may give you a ballpark timeframe.
