Default Look what came in the mail yesterday..... SNOW SHOES!

OCD is getting the better of me. Ordered and installed my snow shoes to see what they look like.

Yes these are 18" if anyone is wondering....

...ok back in the box until winter....

More details please. Where did you get them? What tired brand? 245/40-18? Would 17's fit?

Those look a lot like S3 wheels, which are nice looking. One think I've noticed on the Mk3 is with the well defined, creased wheel arches that it really makes wheels look small. Even those are 18" but to me they look much smaller, practically 16" or something like that. It is just an optical illusion, but really gives it a weird look.

bumping this up.....my TT was made apparently within the last few days, ....they said week 43 but I received no email notification.....dealer just told me he checked and it's done, waiting to get on a ship. He's telling me early to mid-Nov delivery....yowzer!

That being said....I need to order some winter rims/tires, looking at TireRack the '16 TT is still not up. Your rims look really sharp, how do I know what size rims to search for? I'd like to see what else they have.

2nd question, how did you get the Audi emblem on the rims?

thanks ahead!

I used the 2014 TT and went from there. Its the EXACT same size tire.

For the Audi Cap. I bought them on Amazon for like $12.

The correct tire size is 245/40/18.

A narrower tire is better for deep snow traction, but this overall diameter is incorrect (although it is minor). If you want a narrower tire, then go for a 225/50/17 and a 17x7 rim.
