Driving to work today I came over a bridge and wanted to down shift on the downhill side. Not driving fast or aggressive.... just popped it down two gears and she slowed down just the right amount. The light turned red so I braked to a stop. She knew I didn't want to keep paddle shifting and went back into "D" mode all by herself.

I'm very faithful to my wife, but it's sure nice having a 4-wheeled girlfriend who reads my mind so well. Great job Audi engineers.

It is impressive how intuitive the Audi S Tronic gear boxes are. I had the 7 spd in my S5 and was very impressed with that one as well.

It was an sequential manual gearbox used in the first generation R8 until 2012 when it was then replaced by the S tronic in 2013. It was great on the track but left a little to be desired on the street.
