This irked me too. Why not give the TT the new 252hp 2.0, and tune the TTS to 300 plus HP. 292hp is no joke in a car this light and sticky, but really Audi? You couldn't tweak 8 more HP out of the 2.0 for the TTS? You rate it at 306 for the EU/UK. It's psychological I guess.

This irked me a bit as well. 300 Hp in a 3K lb car rolls off the tongue much better.
A better intake (e.g. 034's latest offering) will get it close however.
Likely resultant of reliability tuning in US to accommodate our wider climatic environment.
