Can't say I'm fond of the Black Optic on the TTS (wheels), but on the TT, it does look the business. I'm not normally swayed much by packages that seem a bit too much about boosting egos and manufacturer's profits, but seeing these photos does, it pains me to admit, send a twinge down my spine. I'm thinking perhaps I should have ordered the TTS in white w/black optic, ebay'd the wheels, bought a set of these 19's and de-badged the car. I'm guessing that would remove any remaining vestiges of the notion of a TTS being the least bit cute. OTOH, I console myself by thinking as cool as that might be, the imperial storm trooper look would likely elicit too many wise cracks as to whether I get to park it in the executive level on the death star or not.

The Nano grey has grown on me over time, but I don't do black/gunmetal wheels. Although from this and the photo backgrounds it appears The Jersey Boys do.

Whatever you like is what's important.

Hmm... come to think of it, I grew up in NJ. Regardless, I prefer gunmetal as a practical matter, as it means never having to say sorry for too much brake dust.

Now yer talkin' my language!

Yep, eternal brake dust vigilance required with silver wheels, given dusty OEM brake pads, but I'll pay those dues.

Can't help but wonder how the Black Optic package looks on Monsoon Gray...or better yet, Daytona.
