Default Odometer Reading Display

Does anyone know how to have your odometer reading display all the time. I know where the botton is for a quick look but I'm wondering if there's a way to have it stay displayed. Note: my default virtual cockpit view is set to the sport mode with the large gauge in the middle vs the view of two gauges on both ends. (if that makes a difference)

The odo/trip meter also displays when the trip computer is selected via the left/right mode buttons. I'm still poking around with VCDS to see if it can be enabled at all times in Sport Mode, but there are a lot of adaptation strings to browse through (in German).

I haven't found a way to constantly display the odometer.

btw: somewhat related (not much help in this instance), Owner's Manuals are now [finally] available online: Audi Online Owner's Manual

I, too, would like to know how to keep the odometer on the display. It is a real pain to have to scroll through the menus, using the left/right buttons.
I also hate that the odometer and trip odometer are so close together.

A software upgrade would fix this, but I doubt Audi will provide one.
