To get the navigation to not talk as much, when in nav, right click and scroll to navigation settings (or a similar menu name), and in there you can switch from complete to compact or off.

.... and you can also select the volume of the Nav prompts during calls, etc.

edit: Nice to see the TT recently featured in Audi tutorials, e.g. (Nav)
