Recommendations for a TT noob
My 2017 TT (Scuba Blue, all-season tires, B&O sound, Tech Package) is on a ship somewhere, and I got my A3 TDI buyback offer this morning. Assuming no surprises I should be driving my first TT within 90 days!
As a new TT driver, what would you tell me to do/buy/avoid?
Thanks!

Congrats! Turning my A3 TDI in on 12/14. Still in the first 24 hours of driving my TTS. Can't help much with the buy/avoid, but as for do, if you haven't already and you've got your vin, while you're waiting you might as well kill some time reading the manual. With a vin, you can read the 2017 manual online here.
I found it worthwhile to go through the controls, VC stuff, driving modes, configurations etc. Its made what might have been a steeper learning curve quite a bit easier. A lot of the MMI stuff is similar to the '15 A3, but there are some twists and the wheel controls are organized a little differently. Having read all this in advance, the whole thing was familiar enough to just jump straight in with the VC and use whats there rather than get confused and distracted by it.
Best of luck!

I didn't realize I could ask for the VIN! I will do that now, and start reading.
Just scanned my signed and notarized offer letter on my TDI, so hopefully I will have my buyback appointment soon.
Thanks!

My pleasure, best of luck. FYI, to get my vin, I just went to the dealerships website and my car showed up in their inventory as 'in transit' but had the vin number. At least here in New England, Audi updates the status of the cars directly on the dealer site.
