This is terrible considering how low the Mk3 TT has been in production.

My turn. 7000km on the odo and my driver's side popped and I can see the clip inside is broken. My 8000 oil change is coming up so I'll address it then.
Others with the issue: Did they do both your seats or just one?

I just noticed that the passenger side has popped out again. Ugh. Nobody has sat in the seat. It has only been 4 days since I picked up the car !
The driver side is fine so far.

The service manager saw me pull up to the bay. He told me he was very sorry that the issue wasn't resolved. He brought another person over to show the flappy/loose plastic bit and said that I was the fourth customer to experience that problem.
New seat parts were ordered today. It took a week or two last time.
The passenger seat side bit, which has never seen any passenger, was the one that popped. The driver's side is still fine. From that observation, it seems like the clip is under a lot of stress from its design and not usage.
