Default starting the mods.

Very minor mods going into my TT.

But I have/will be:

1. Phone Mount - Completed. First pass. $3.50. Mounting my phone on the side of the console (passenger side). Will take pictures later. Could use a magnet mount as well... but I have Credit Card Wallet Phone Case... so no no.

2. Radar Detector. Working on the planning.

Some notes.
- The fuse box is NOT behind the TT door sill. It is in a panel under the steering wheel labeled "Airbag". (no there is no airbag under there.).
-The fuses are going to be a bitch to get to....
-Looking for ground... also going to be a bitch.
-This car is just so well finished.... I HATE THAT!
-Interior Mirror... also just so well finished.... I cant figure out how to bust into it..... I could even bust into my Porsche Macan with breeze.... 30mn and I give up. Will be doing external wiring for now. Will take pictures when done. Should look "ok"

That is really all I am doing..... I LOVE THIS CAR. Hoping some of you others will be getting your to compare notes.

not saying there is no knee airbags... saying there is no airbag behind the door.... its fuses.
and very hard to reach fuses at that.

What detector do you have? If its a V1 i used the Savey OBD2 plug in for power and speed auto muting, works perfectly. Running the wire down the A pillar was a bit of a PITA but I can provide some suggestions on how I got mine out of sight while not impacted any air bards or panels that would have to be blown out during a crash for the bag to deploy.

I believe the airbag is near the fuses or something.

I have attached screenshots from the interior body repairs manual to show you how the interior mirror stuff is put together. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! NOTE: it talks about needing to replace some parts when reinstalling the mirror!!!!
