transmission hiccups/drive mode?
hey folks, ive been in my new TT now for about a month. i just love it.
it might be my imagination, but im thinking there might be some weird stuff going on. i have no logic/theory, just going to list some stuff and maybe others can see if they have experienced the same thing?
1) sometimes, but not all the time, the brakes seem crazy jerky and sensitive. i think ive experienced this only at near 0 mph (ex: pulling car up in drive way bit by bit, etc).
2) in dynamic mode - which i seldom use because ive never owned a manual before and thus not comfortable with paddle shifters etc - the piped in engine sounds seem to suggest high rev/like sound an engine makes when its not switching gears?
3) at times, in automatic drive mode - when light turns green the car seems slightly slow to react and get going. note, im not trying to floor it or anything. just minor initial delay from foot to pedal and actual substantial motion forward. other times its like a rocket.
sadly im already at 1,000 miles. i need to back off my driving! if there is anything to what im describing above perhaps my 5000 mile checkup will reveal?

1. Same here at very low rolling speed. They're very big/positive calipers so just something to get used to.
2. Dynamic mode holds the transmission in lower gear longer so you are potentially at higher rev's. This is typical of sporty operation.
3. This Audi video may lend some insight on your S-Tronic hesitation (2nd gear preselected when transmission is in park/neutral).
The TT really is a wonderful machine!
