I didn't acknowledge they put the order in the actual computer.
Will follow up with dealership later to confirm the computer took the order.
Thanks.

Thanks for sharing this. Excited it's finally here, but disappointed you can't get certain exterior / interior colors on the roadster, especially when you can't get a TTS roadster. Sigh.

At least an S-line exterior would've been nice....

Very customer unfriendly packaging choices by Audi USA. No S Line on the TT is a blatant attempt to drive buyers to the TTS.
Even on the TTS the way the Express Red is restricted is disappointing.

True. Unfortunately I can't even get a TTS roadster as they stopped offering that model

The choice not to bring the TTS Roadster to the U.S. did surprise me. It is my understanding we will get it in Canada, but order guides are not out yet.

Allocations due to start today (Monday 5/18), so you are correct. That goes for TT and TTS models.

Anyone saying otherwise should call their dealership. You may find out that they took your info but didn't plug it in yet.

I think they are feeling us out. They have many options over there we do not get. I believe I read a quote, "The US is more interested in sipping latte's rather than driving", the perception being we are a bunch of pampered impatient snots with a grand sense of entitlement.

In Europe they seem to be able to get any combination of:
Engine, including Diesel
FWD or Quattro
Convertible
Transmission

except I believe TTS mandates Quattro

ergo, you can get a Diesel manual Convertible TT Quattro S-Line!

What is the difference between standard seats and full nappa, or even extended?

Click the link above your post. Go "build your own" and the descriptions are all there. Standard is like a microfiber suede on the seating surfaces with some portions leather (side bolsters and head rest) I believe. Extended leather package has to do with trim inside the passenger compartment like on the arm rest. I don't think it has anything to do with the seats.
