It's new to me but this is my first Audi and this was the best explanation I could find.

So I've had a little experience with the program now, I've received the first 2 emails. It leaves a lot to be desired. There are a total of 4 emails that are sent, each a generic step in the process. My order was for a 2016 S6. 1. Ordered (I got this email about 3 weeks after my dealer actually entered my order into the audi system) 2. Built (I got this email a few days after my order was "released for production" - this email arrived before my car was likely built since it is typically around 3 weeks between released for production and when the car arrives in Emden to be shipped) 3. European port (haven't gotten this email) 4. US port.

Your dealer can look in the system and see these steps in much more detail. There are ETA's that are in the Audi system that are close to accurate once the order moves to the "released for prodction" step that these email updates don't give you.

When I order another Audi in the future I'll insist that the dealer send me screenshots of the Audi computer system "vehicle order" periodically to update me on the status of my order.

From what I've read it's an automated email update system that your Audi dealer can add your email address to.

For info purposes, Audi Canada and Audi UK have more interactive website based systems for order tracking.

Default $1500 above invoice?

oldiesdj, if possible could you let us know what dealer gave you this price? Or at least the general area where you live to contact the dealers in your area? Any information you can provide is appreciated.

Don't expect it until mid-October though. I said that that works for me. But they did make it sound like most Audi buyers are wealthy enough that they just pay MSRP.

Default Looking For Best Auto transport company

The biggest problem today is the time to trust what? In addition to several large company who brilliantly plays his promises and one of these is:

If you want to take your car and there is a safe somewhere eShiptransport is a best option is much better than their reviews another company, I would suggest any type of transport eShip opted for Transportation.

Default Production Delays

I ordered my 2016 TT roadster 11/13/15. I heard from the dealer 1/11/16 that Audi has stopped assembly as of 12/7/15 and they cannot get an answer as to when production will resume. Allegedly Audi is not communicating with the dealers as to why production has stopped or when we can expect our cars to be delivered. Anyone hear anything?????

TT is made here:

Gy?r > Audi production worldwide > Production sites > AUDI AG

all I know is there are some political tensions between Hungary and Germany.

I had read there was some initial concern with Gyor layoffs potentially linked to the VAG diesel performance blowback, but more recent onsite Gyor reports are that they're busier than ever. Again however just what I read. No idea why there may be a production slowdown, if any. Guessing at a vendor supply chain issue given just-in-time manufacturing methodology. Or sales not matching expectations?

I have listed in southern California a 2016 Audi TT with silver exterior and black interior!!! Very well equipped. It has only 1,500 miles, was a Audi Executives demo car and now you can be the proud owner of this beauty for only $46,500 well below sticker!!! I work at one of the top Audi dealers in LA and we would love to assist you in owning this awesome new ride!!

Feel free to email me at kalayoubi@rusnakautogroup.com
