A TT Journey
After 18 months of reading everything I could get my hands on about this car, I finally got to drive one.
I wasn't expecting to get a drive today, but it worked out perfectly.
It was the ideal spec for my first drive, an S line quattro coupe with Nav/Comfort/LEDs/B&O; just as I would spec it if I were to buy one (other than colors).
I have no experience with driving previous gen TTs, all A4s and A5s.
I really enjoyed this test drive, the car is very good.
It was obviously quicker than my A5 (more power and less weight), but I still want to drive the TTS.
Slightly firmer ride but nothing drastic, as I have always had sport or S line sport suspension.
Felt really good to sit in, these sport seats are very nice.
Steering felt good, better than my A5 even though it is an Electronic Power Steering system.
S tronic gearbox felt flawless, noticeably more responsive than my tiptronic.
The car is so nimble and fun to drive.
It looked smaller than I expected in person, but did not feel cramped or claustrophobic inside in spite of the all black interior.
The Virtual Cockpit seemed to work well, no issues with bright sunlight or having sunglasses on, anyone familiar with Audi MMI will pick it up quickly for sure.
Can’t wait to take out a TTS in October to decide which one to order.

I just test drove today, beautiful car for sure.....only thing I didn't like is I prefer the headrests to sit more forward to hit my head. Guess that's pretty minor, it's the only thing I can complain about.

Good to hear as I dislike them too far forward. Different strokes ...
