Hey please let us know if any update. My car went in and the shock mount was changed out per service bulletin. Now the noise is somewhat improved but still there. I will take it to another dealer for a second check.

Can you tell us who your dealer is? I'd like mine to contact them, since Audi NA doesn't appear to be spreading the word.

Thanks.

Default 2017?

Wonder if this is fixed for MY 2017 vehicles. Is this happening for everyone or just some? Makes me a little nervous with my order in...

Just some. No issues with my suspension (nor seats).

At my 5000 mile service the dealer didn't hear the noise, but was going to get the district rep's OK to order the parts. I do hear the noise occasionally, but mostly when I am running on the 19" wheels. Not so much on the 18s.

Had the rear shock mounts installed yesterday under Audi TSB 2042539/4. Nice improvement. The rear end used to be rougher and louder over bumps than the front end. Now they are about equal. I put the 19s on to see if the ride had improved enough to make them reasonably comfortable. The 19s are still pretty stiff, but I don't feel the hard impact from the rear anymore. I think a great deal of the roughness had to be due to those shock mounts. I wonder if on newer models the factory switched to the revised mounts. That could explain why some owners don't feel that the ride is excessively rough on 19s or even 20s.
