Default 2010 AUDI A4 B8 RHD to LHD conversion

Hi everyone,

Do apologize if this is not the right section for the post, but I'm guessing it's a software issue.

I have recently converted my right hand drive audi a4 b8 to left hand drive, you may think I'm crazy, but it worked quite well to be honest. Luckily I had a friend of mine that had the exact same car, color etc (rear damage) and it was easy and cheap for me to get all the parts apart from some small plastic bits.

I have kept the original speedometer in miles, replacing with a new one would need coding etc, but my problem is when I open the driver door (left side now) it shows the right door open and the other way round.

I have changed the door cluster, cables everything, tried all sorts of things to make it work, but still the same. Does anyone know if this has something to do with the speedometer not being a LHD one ?

Hope anyone can help, my last option would be to take it to AUDI to see what they say about it.

Many thanks.

In the VDCS there is an option to change to RHD or LHD. That may or may not solve your issues
