A4 B7 Vag Code for Seatbelt Chime
*update* K I figured it out.. subtract 2 from block 17(instruments)*update*
Also I just read on a diff post that it is possible to have the doors unlock when the key is removed from the ignition. Anyone know what to do to get this working?
Thanks for the help

The instrument cluster and comfort system coding/adaptation details can be found here...
...substract "2" actually doesn't work on a B7.<ul><li><a href="http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/Audi_A4/S4/Cabriolet_%288E/8H%29">http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/Audi_A4/S4/Cabriolet_%288E/8H%29</a</li></ul>

Are you sure... because I did this and the chime isn't there anymore except for at startup.
I looked at the link... one question. How do you know which Inst Cluster you have... (8E2/8E5/8H7) or (8EC/8ED/8HE).
I'm pretty sure that the subtracting 2 worked... but when I get home from work I am going to check this out again.

Re: Got the instrument cluster part number and original/new coding handy?
Part Number: 8E0 920 951 G
Original Coding: 0023261
So following the chart on that page I should end up with 00232?1 with the ? being either...
0 = No Seatbelt Warning
1 = Seatbelt Warning Europe-NCAP
2 = Seatbelt Warning USA and Canada (NAR old)
3 = Seatbelt Warning USA and Canada (NAR new)
4 = Seatbelt Warning Europe-NCAP (incl. passenger)
5 = Seatbelt Warning USA and Canada old (incl. passenger)
6 = Seatbelt Warning USA and Canada NAR new (incl. passenger)
I guess my only question is what is the diff between all those?

The difference is when and how often it sounds the annoying chime
and whether it does so if it detects an unbelted passenger too.
Sorry, I don't have exact details handy.
Tru the different values and pick the one you like..:-)
