Default ? about engine codes, blink codes, trouble codes

Hi, I have a 97 audi a4 2.8 Quattro, I have had regular oil changes and all but recently my Check Engine light came on. All fluids are fine, so I was looking for a way to locate the problem or if it was just for regular check up. The car is almost to 95,000. Thanks

Default You should get your car scanned. 1996 and newer models

do not support "blink codes". The Check Engine Light is also called the "Malfunction Indicator Light". There are dozens of reasons why it could be on.
