Adaptation reset?
I heard that Audi automatically updates the software in your vehicle when you bring it in for scheduled maintenance (if there is an update available). Will that reset the changes I've made in VCDS?
Also, should I reset the changes I've made before bringing it in for service in or does it even matter? The car is still under warranty.
Thanks!

I've had mine in a couple times for AudiCare oil changes and they did not change my settings.
With that said, the last time I took it in for a check engine light that turned out to be two codes, first was 4105 - Bank 1; System too Lean at Idle P2187 a bad pressure regulating valve and second was 02259 - Information Display and Control Head (Front) (J685) 004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent
Picked up my car and everything was back to the factory settings. Not too much of an issue for me since I have the Ross Tech setup and can switch back, but I can imagine if you had to find someone each time to change.
Nothing was ever said to me about the changes I had installed. I'm guessing they didn't notice and did the update for another reason other than for the changes I made.
Hope that helps.
