Any plans for a PDA compatible vagcom?
I have a new Sony Clie that will reside in my car and having the vag-com software on it and the capbalility of trouble shooting the car on the road/trip would be wonderful!

I don't believe they have plans to port it to Palm
I believe they might experiment with PocketPC... or at least, it would be easier to port to PocketPC than Palm =) But I do not believe there are any current plans to do this.
What I did was find the crappiest oldest laptop that I could at my work, and helped myself to it since they were getting rid of it anyways. P133, 32MB of RAM - the battery is perfectly fine, and if I charge it for 3 hours once every two weeks, I can leave it in my car long enough to do anywhere from 15 min. to an hour of troubleshooting (depending on battery life).
Not aesthetically pleasing, but it works great.

I have a setup for the Palm platform but it just reads raw data off the vehicle bus.
It was developed by my company and then sold to a vendor to distribute. I belive it's available to the public but it costs around $350.
You get an interface box that can switch between: J1850/Class 2
CAN
Keyword
Keyword 2000
and another, but I cannot remember.
It works well but with the limited memory size in the older Palms, it runs very slow and can log only so much data.
It's called the "Saint".
If you want more info on it I can probably get it for you.
