Good Morning,

I just recently acquired a Ross-Tech VCDS/Vag Com but was reading some places in order to make changes to parts of the system you need to enter a security access code. Does anyone know where to get those access codes?

Looking at enabling Adaptive Brake Lights, VIM, DRL LED Tails, Eurostyle brake lights. (Just received the Ross-Tech VCDS HEX-Can-USB)

I got the codes to do that but not where/ how to get the security access code. I have the whole audi repair manual from erwin.audiusa but didn't see where any access code was.

Generally when you click on security access for a particular control module, if a security code has been documented for that module then it will pop up on the screen in a yellow chat-like bubble. No pop up, no documented code. Many of the how-to's you are looking for can be easily found by using either this forum's search tool, Ross-tech's forum and wiki site, or everyone's friend Google.com. With a little bit of searching you will certainly find what you are seeking.
