Default Automatic headlights sensitivity(?)

I realized my Q5's headlights were on mid-day ... even while the sun was out (albeit here in the north where the sun is low in the sky mid-Dec). I wonder if there isn't a VCDS parameter somewhere that can adjust automatic 'on' to be less sensitive to light(?)

TIA

I'm not certain about the Q5 but have seen other models with an MMI setting for Early/Mid/Late for the automatic headlights.
May want to check there first and see if that setting is available/helps.

It can be coded as per the wiki, but I don't think it's intended to correct the issue you describe.
The light sensor correction value may help as documented on this VW thread.

As always make sure to document the original coding in case it doesn't work out.
