B7 A4 Avant Euro tails in US car... what are the codes? are there codes for this?
I plan to get Euro Tails for my new B7 Avant. I'm in the US.
In the US, the "blinker" encompasses two separate light bulbs, one of which is also a "brake light." In a Euro tail, only one of those bulbs would blink, corresponding to the amber portion of the fixture, and obviously not the brake light.
Either the difference btw the functionality of NA and Euro tails is a wiring issue, or a code issue.
Does anyone know which, and if it's a code, how to code the NA car to properly operate a Euro tail?
There's been discussion of this on the B7 forum here, and also on the lounge, but no resolution.
