Default A/C Magnetic Clutch Problem

Car is giving intermittent starting problem. Sometimes no start for 3 days and then it starts again- so no problem with the battery. I could listen to the the fuel pump relay energizing. Also, the A/C don't work and I could listen to the A/C Magnetic clutch's sound when right after the vehicle starts.

Did a VAG and found:
00799 - Coolant Temperature Sensor (G110)~ 30 - 00 - Open or Short to B+
01270 - A/C Magnetic Clutch (N25)~ 42-10 - Speed Deviation too High - Intermittent

Questions?
Can coolant temp sensor be a cause of intermittent starting problem?
Is there any place where I could buy just the magnetic clutch?
Can it be just the A/C Magnetic clutch relay showing up in VAG?
Could A/C Magnetic clutch relay be associated with the fact that there is compressor is empty?
Also where can I find the Transmission Code?

Already changed the starter switch but still intermittent no start? Ordered a temp sensor and will install next week.

Thanks in Advance

Default Define "no start":

- cranks, but doesn't fire up?
- or won't crank at at all?

Default Re: Define "no start":

Intermittent No Crank. Seems like there is no trouble code registered either.

Default Since cranking can't be blocked

by anything diagnstic capable on that car, you're gonna have to chase that the old-fashioned way, with a multimeter.

Default What parts should to check with Multimeter?

Thanks for the clarification, Uwe.
What are the parts I need to check? I couldn't find a Starting diagram in ELSA.

I would look at ignition switch and work from there...

Default Replaced Ignition Switch 2 months ago

Reading the forum, I though ignition switch as well. But if I try to start, I could hear the relay just no crank. Could it be faulty Ignition Relay? Will the relay register in VAG?

Car is working fine now, still worried which awkward moment it will stop.

Default probe the starter signal terminal on the starter, and have someone try to crank it...

while watching the test light.
