Can anyone explain these features for the B6 A4 Central Convenience control module recode?
State Bit Function
OFF 4 rear unlocking block via speed
OFF 8 avant (glass break sensors in rear side-and rear windows (if error: safe-LED constantly lit ))
OFF 12 normal/????-alarm system
ON 13 No SAFE-function USA only
OFF 14 insulate-glass PR-nr 4KR/4KV
I'm assuming that if the bit for is set high "rear unlocking block via speed" then the rear unlocking button will be deactivated when the vehicle speed increases over 10MPH (or other speed). Is this correct?
Do the Avant's have an LED in the rear area that flashes when the rear hatch has been tampered with? On the sedan's the LED is in the driver's door. Is this the same/different? I think it states that if this bit is set high then if the rear glass breakage sensor has a problem then this LED will stay lit constantly.
What do the last three bits represent?

I'm assuming the rear unlocking block via speed is correct, but haven't tested exactly how it works.
Avants have the same single LED in the driver's door.
I'm guessing the No-SAFE function disables the LED from blinking when the alarm is active, but again, haven't tested.
