Can't run ABS pump with VCDS 805.0 or VAG-COM 704.1
In fact, I get an error (not available) on all Basic Settings tests for ABS.
Tried it with 1) ignition on, 2) ignition off, and 3) engine running to no avail.
WTF?

Couldn't do it with a A4 B7 8E either, Do I need a special access Code?
I installed New Front Rotors and Pads all around and had the same problem.
I have a 2006 Audi A4 B7 8E 2.0L Turbo FWD and tried to follow these steps: http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/absbleeding.html
Without success, I took it to the Dealership and asked them to Bleed the brakes they returned the car and said their was no need and you don't have to cycle the ABS pump. This was after the 5th brake bleed to get all the air out and pedel pressure back.
I am also wondering why we can't set the E-Brake with our cars. Is it purely mechanical?<ul><li><a href="http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/absbleeding.html">http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/absbleeding.html</a</li></ul>
