Code 16985. STFA & found 2 instances but no resolution
2002 Audi S4 w/ APR stage 1 (91oct) chip installed Feb04.
Dealership report:
01-Engine
8D0907551T
2.7L V6/5VT G 0003
Coding 6711
02- Interrogate fault memory
1 Fault
16985 P0601 035
Internal Control Module Memory
Check Sum Error
Car runs just fine. Dealership said they hadn't seen this code before but that it may go out with use. They would have to 'baseline' it to reset it. Archives suggested a bad ECU/chip install but saw no follow-on messages to resolve it.
Suggestions?
