Hello!

My 2009 A4 Cabriolet (w/ MMI) has the multifunction steering wheel but when I press the "voice control" button I get the error message "NO FUNCT." In these forums I have gleaned that this may just be a "code" issue - Audi just didn't enable Voice Control for some reason, so it needs to be recoded. Does this sound right?

I'm not very technical. Obviously I could take the car to a dealer, but could someone help me understand what type of equipment and/or software and/or expertise I would need to deal with something like this myself?

Use VCDS to take a full scan of the vehicle.

Post that here and we can see what modules you have.

Hi did you get anything sorted with your problem? I have the same age and model as your and have the same problem, just wondered if you got it done?
