Did any one have tried ELM327 WiFi?VCDS-Mobil?
Ross-Tech finally got a free app VCDS-Mobil, I got it on my IPhone just wandering if it'll work with ELM327 WiFi
Of course we can get the HEX-NET directly from Ross-Tech for $400 or try ELM327 Wifi of amazon for $25 and see if it works...

I was just looking at the Ross-Tech website because I was about to purchase a VCDS cable. I saw they have the VCDS Mobile public beta available now. They are asking $400 for the dongle and software.
Should I be considering this, or should I just get the standard PC version which is not in beta? I'm guessing better to get the PC version, but just checking if anyone has more info.

Quite a few of us have been testing it for most of the year, and it's about to come out of Beta as a USB connected device.
When connected via USB it work with VCDS on a laptop in 'classic' mode just like a HEX-USB+CAN.
Still a few niggles on the WiFi side but it has made huge progress.

It is absolutely worth getting the HEX-NET.

Should I get the $399 version that says "10 VINs" or the $499 version for unlimited VINs?

At some point down the road, you will be able to buy a license key to upgrade it to unlimited.
When that will be and the exact cost hasn't been determined yet.
I know Richard Solomon has one but not sure which version.
You may want to see what he has to say as well.
