Default generic OBDii software using Ross Tech interface

Does anybody know of a software that allows for using the Ross Tech USB interface to read generic OBD codes?
The VAG can do some other brands such as Chrysler but not others such as Ford and GM...
I am lookin at using my interface on other vehicles to check for codes.
Thank you
David

Default try this - at least you have eBay buyer protection

Follow links in his listing to see that he says it covers ALL fault codes lists [by manufacturer/model]. Wonder how database can get updated ????? He also sells [not on eBay, hist site only] the OBDII cable of 'high quality' - I am ordering both myself today as it so happens.

In case link is blocked here is everything except base eBay address:

Default about obd software

hi I have a genuine VCDS, VAC-COM with integrated software for all makes in it. I bought this one from ROSS-TECH dealer in Germany and I paid an extra 200 euros for this OBD. If you are interested I will go further with the info but they did something with my interface as well to start working with the other software

Thanks, that would have been an interesting option when I purchased mine but I don't think it is still available... I already have a Ross Tech so I will not be purchasing a whole new one but I would be interested in a software for the laptop that could use my Ross Tech interface...
