Guys I have got a new hard drive for my laptop...can I fully download the VAG software again...

It was fully registered before...and need it on my new harddrive...

Is this possible...

Yes. Download the software again and install ...

Then send the new serial number to Activation@Ross-Tech.com and explain your situation in message. They'll send you a new activation code to unlock the software. This same situation just recently happened to me, and Uwe/Linda were great about helping me out.

Serial numbers are unique for each PC and each software version. New
serial numbers are generated each time VAG-COM returns to shareware.
This means that a single PC will have a new serial number if for any
reason it should become "unregistered". An activation code will work
once and only once, and only for the PC and serial number for which it
has been generated.

Therefore, when you are ready to activate a new laptop or even
reactivate a new macine, you will need to send us the new serial number.
