So, I just replaced the old D2S bulbs in the car with some brighter model. Swap it in no problem. Aiming quite a bit low, so I have to readjust. It was already pointing low before replacement, but not this bad.


Okay, so I plug in my VAG.

Go to Module 55
Set Coding to 4
Then Measuring block 1.. wait.. adjust shows.

I am parked on the street facing a nice cardboard box with some X to use for aiming.

I am turning each white **** for left/right up/down. Nothing is moving. Actually, the only thing that gets moved is the brights. When I go to group 1, I hear the little motor make noise, but I never see the headlight dip up or down. Infact, I dont thing I have ever seen it dip up or down.

I have also checked the little level dohicky by the wheels/control arm, they are still there and not broken/bent.


Anything else that I need to look at? At the moment, I have the brights lowered enough to use as a secondary light source so the car is usable at night.
