Default Heater Control Flaps

Is there a way to test the heater control flaps? 2002 A4 1.8t is not heating up. I just heard that besides thermostat and sensors, it could be the the motor control flaps for the vents. Thanks, Tony.

Default Take a look at measuring block groups 003 and 004

They are for the left and right temperature flaps respectively. The first field of each should show you the current position of the flap.

Default Tested Flaps

Thanks Uwe. You guys are a lot of help. I just purchased this system and it has helped me a lot. I ran the test for the flaps and it shows that the flaps are working good. Did the HVAC test and can see the tiny fan in the control panel that revs above 2000 rpm, it checks out good. I am thinking that it might be a sensor. A previous post says it could be air in the lines. No need to reply ,Thanks again. Tony
