help help car ran until a lazy idiot degreased engine and sprayed with water
o.k this is a 89--90 quatro for my 16 yr old it runs good or so i heard but the lazy dad who knows nothing degreased the engine then he sprayed it with water(soaked it) we took it for a small drive but cou;ldn't keep it running my stepdad tried to take off the distr. dry it but the car doesn't seem to be getting any gas....can i bleed the fuel line...could it be the timming is thrown off... i know i don't know much just trying to get his birthday car running before he's is 17 and before he rips on mine too much!! please help please!!!!

Chances are that's not a fuel problem.
Pull and dry all the ignition related stuff, coil distriutor, all high-tension wires, spark plugs etc.
