034 - waited until egt was above 260, still won't run test
070 - still won't run
107 - don't kow as i just reset everything
So, do you think it's software related?

Sorry to disagree Uwe
I do disable some readiness checks and all this does is that the readiness tests for the given checks I disable get "passed" immediately after power-on. i.e. you clear codes and check readiness and the disabled checks show up as "passed" straight away.

Uwe, one last question. Is there any other way this problem is NOT tuner related?
If I'm not getting any DTC's, and the test won't run manually, what else could cause this? I just want to know which route to take next as my inspection is due this month so I need to get this fixed. Thanks

Are all the tuners smart enough to do it that way? ;-)
And is PaJohn using your software?

I can't think of any reason, but
I don't claim to know everything...;-)
In principle, when forcing the tests via the sequence in the repair manual (and all the conditions are met) the relevant bit should either set or a fault code should be set indicating why the bit didn't set.
Now lets deal with the practical aspects of this: In PA, you're allowed to have *some* readiness bits showing not passed and still pass inspection. The question is how many and which ones. This I'm not 100% sure of.

For the archives, it was in the code. All fixed now, although I couldn't get the
O2's to pass using the manual procedure. They reset after a short drive. Thanks all.

Just to be 100% clear, "the code" means your "chip" right?
