How to disable TPMS in a 2008 A4?

Can I run a set of wheel/tires without the sensors and disable the system via vag-com?

Select -> 17-Instruments -> Adaptation -> Channel 61

Subtract 512 from value.

has anyone tested and verified this mod????

couldn't find any info on the web on the VAG-COM mod for TPMS.
if anyone has done it successfully, please let us know.
