Just got my VAG-COM USB - Honda SW with unit?
Now that I'm back in the VAG owners group, I had a need for the setup again, so I purchased an entirely new setup. Much better looking hardware than the originals (I had one of the first runs with exposed wires and all).
Anyway... Does anyone know if there is a Honda software equivalent that I can run through the VAG-COM dongle? Uwe's site says that you can probably read codes, but I need to reset the service reminder in my fiance's Honda, which I'm guessing isn't part of "reading" codes. I haven't looked at it yet, as I just got done with the UPS debacle of actually getting the unit today.

Your Fiancee drives a Honda? Either get her a real car or..
OK, just kidding.
VAG-COM should be able to do normal "generic OBD-II" on the Honda, but you're correct in assuming that resetting service reminders is not part of the functionality available in generic OBD-II 'cause it's not emissions related.
I'm not aware of anything like VAG-COM for Hondas. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
And thanks for the kind words regarding the newer style interfaces.

Did some reading on a Honda forum and there (may) be a button to hold down for five seconds down there under the steering column somewhere? I haven't really looked for it to be honest.

here you go...
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Press and hold the SELECT/RESET button in the instrument panel, then turn the ignition switch ON
3. Hold the button until the indicator resets (approximately ten seconds).
Select/reset button is towards the left side of the instrument cluster
