Default Lamda readings............lean/rich?

How do you translate the -/+ numbers to extrapolate whether the car is running lean or rich.

I have a air/fuel gauge but, I am trying to translate the Vag readings from each cyclinder.

Default if you are in the + you are running lean, - is rich

If you're within -10/+10 you don't have anything to really worry about.

Default So think of the + and - as pertaining to air

+ too much air = lean
- not enough air = rich

That's by design. They pump in more fuel at high speeds to keep things cooler. Now, how rich is too rich? I haven't looked that up yet.
