Re: VAG-COM doesn't ask for logins, what do you want to change/do?
when i hit the login in button i need to login... i dont know if i get any other options once i login, but ive seen on the interent that you need to login to the modules.. i know there are codes for the engine and i would like to try some out.. im still loking for codes too

I think you are in way over your head here...
You shouldn't be using the log in feature in the engine section unless you are actually changing something... and by reading your posts, I'm 99.9% sure you are not looking to log in...
Sounds like you are wanting to scan for fault codes??? If so, just click the fault codes button on the left hand side and the codes , if any will be displayed...
There is nothing that you should be "playing around with" in the login or app fields...
I've learned too quickly, that VAG-COM is a vast tool, and requires caution and time and knowledge, and it sounds like you are asking for the wrong help, or using the wrong terms...

maybe im asking the wrong questions... are there any modifications that can be done in the engine or transmission control modules... and what is the login button for? please give me any feedback on codes or where to find out more information
