Default Measuring Block 093 does not match what Ross-tech and Bentley say it should be?

My '00 A6 2.7T 6 speed has CEL so I pull one code 17748 (P1340) Camshaft G40/Engine Speed Sensor G28 Incor. Correlation. The most recent version of Bentley repair CD does not have info on that code so I go to their forum on this car paging the technical editors. Lo and behold, Audi has recently released info on this code for this car, directing me to measuring block 093. According to Ross-tech( http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/m_blocks/index.html) this is correct info but when I go to that measuring block, fields 3 and 4, the ones that pertain to the camshaft/crankshaft correlation problem, all I get is idle stabilization data. Any ideas? BTW, my vag-com serial cable was purchased from ross-tech within the last 5 months.

Default Please tell us exactly what you see in Group 093

The fact that the data is labeled "idle stabilization" doesn't bother me much. This is quite plausible as a default label based on the type of data the ECU is sending if there's no label file being pulled up for your ECU, or if the label file being used doesn't have an entry for Group 093.

Default Measuring Block 093 Fields?

Fields 1 and 2 are as they should be per Ross-Tech and Bentley, engine rpm and engine load respectively. Fields 3 and 4 are both labeled idle stabilization and last evening with an ambient air temp of 42 degrees F and a cold engine, Field 3 reads -25.0 CF and field 4 reads -22.0 CF. The readings did not change from idle to revved up to engine off.

Default Ask someone with the same APB motor

who doesn't have the same fault code as you to take a look at the same group and report if it's any different.

Seems to me those numbers should change, and according to the data posted by Sebastian, yours is out of the acceptable range to begin with.
