Default O2 Sensor Question

I own a 2000 S4 and the check engine light came on the other day, hooked the VAG-COM up to it and came up with a code that said Bank 1 Sensor 1 and 2 were reading resistance high. So, I am wondering if it is going to be the sensors or something upstream, like the MAF or Cat's. Also, the car only has 67000 miles on it. Thanks in advance.

Default very likely....

just sensors going bad if those are the only codes being thrown. 60-some-odd K miles is typical life

Just throw an O2 sensor at it. You can get a universal 4 wire on ebay for $20 right now. I just installed one in front of the cat and the car is running the best it has in a long time. Maybe the Avon Techs I just installed help as well.

Default agreed......

AS long as your connections are perfectly sound. Usually at my shop, I tend to get the entire sensor and harness, but if it were my own car, I'd go universal.
