I have a 2003 VW 2.0L Jetta. The engine light came on a few weeks ago. Ive had it reset and the coolant temperature sensor replaced. The light came on again. Same code. I showed the VW guy the audi part number concerning the hoses/checkvalve hose. He said the part did not exist in the jetta. These dealers are all bashing each other saying the other guy dont know anything. Just to get a dealer to look at it, I have to pay $100.00 for the code. They are all perplexed. I dropped it off again today to yet another VW dealer. Surely someone in AZ knows something about this problem and knows how to fix it. 18613 - Performance Malfunction in Cooling System .... I about at my wits end with this problem. Any recommendations?

bad t-stats and water pumps can set the code. The engine looks at how long it takes to reach a certain temp, and if too long, throws that code. coolant sensors are common, and your water pump has a plastic impeller. They usually go bad between 60-80k.

The power window will go up and then it will start to slow down and reverse and go back down. I have cleaned and lubed the window felts and made sure that they were clean and free of any debri. I would appreciate any information on this window problem
